Ok, so far good start, the first problem is that your head bobbles to much when you raise the arm up. The second main distraction is how much the character jerks when the arm is settling. The arm shifts backward, instead try to have it move a little further down then slightly up for the settle.
Kathy McNeal here, and I agree with Baker that it's a good start. The timing still seems a bit even, maybe make it a bit more snappy, but I'm sure those tweaks will come later. The one thing I noticed in particular (because I'm having similar problems) is that on the way up close to the apex the elbow pops out for just a frame and makes it a little weird. I also get the feeling that the head would maybe come down a little more on the settle- he looks like he's looking at the person from the bridge of his nose. Which is fine actually, and if that's how you want it, make it look intentional. Good start, keep going! :D
Rachel Duchrow here. Like the others said, I think its a really good start. I agree with Jake that the head might bobble a bit too much at the top, but I kinda like it because gives life to that hold at the top. However, I notice there is no overlapping action on the head when he leans back in the beginning. Maybe pull it down a little before it goes up to match the head overlap in the rest of the piece?
