i think this is shaping up nicely. i can't see it frame by frame on the blog, so it is difficult to give you a detailed feedback - i hope you are coming to the lab on weds so that i can seat with you and go over the scene! but definitely is shaping up nicely so far!
on the second scene, it is a good idea to add the light turning on, and have her reacting to it. right now her change of mood is ok, but i don't see she reacting to the light turning on on her. so i would actually get a light animated - turning on and off in the shot - and have her reacting to the light.
in terms of acting that is the beat that is missing.
