Baker 01_STAIRS_shot4001

Hey everyone, I have been having a few issues with referencing. Ill save them for class, but as anyone else been having trouble with animating referenced scenes? I cant animate the door, well fix the door animation. And unless I reference the character every time I open it 11's eyelids explode, also leaving a blank lifeless 11 clone that dissapear once I reopen the scene. But here is a playblast from before she blew up.

Kathy McNeal- ATTIC

I've had a couple of bumps on the road as I try to remember some of my modeling lessons, but here's a basic layout of the attic.

I plan to dirty it up with some cardboard boxes which hopefully I can find a model or make a model of that look authentic enough. I have the rotating entrance from below so that it will fall open from one side, and I am working on the window. The images with the edge loops show where I plan to cut out space for the window to insert.

I also want to place a yellow light from below where her room is, and a blue light through the window from the "moon." It obviously still needs work, but here's at least a start.

-Kathy McNeal
HEY GUYS, HERE IS SOME VISUAL DEVELOPMENT WORK I DID FOR THE LITTLE GIRL'S ROOM. I WAS MINDFUL OF THE LAND MARK QUES FROM THE CLASS'S STORY BOARDS, AND SPATIAL NEEDS FOR THE ACTIONS THEY ARE BEING PERFORMED IN THIS SPACE. I ALSO TRIED TO INCLUDE SPACE/ROCKET SHIP STUFF THROUGHOUT THE ROOM SO THAT THROUGHOUT THE SHORT WE ARE MAKING, THE IDEA OF ROCKET TRAVEL IS BEING SET UP AND WON'T BE SUCH AN ABRUPT, OUT OF LEFT FIELD ENDING.
PLEASE REMEMBER, THIS IS VIS-DEV. IT BY NO MEANS WILL ALL GO INTO THE FINAL FILM, AND WILL ALSO PROBABLY NOT LOOK ANYTHING LIKE THIS. I SIMPLY WANTED TO CAPTURE A SENSE OF A LIVED IN SPACE WITH THIS DEVELOPMENT WORK. HENCE THE LAYERED POSTERS, TONS OF STUFFED ANIMALS, ETC. ALL TO HELP/BETTER UNDERSTAND WHO ARE CHARACTER IS, AND HOW IS THAT REFLECTED IN HER SPACE.

HERE I WANTED TO SHOW WHAT EACH WALL WOULD CONTAIN. MOST, IF NOT ALL OF THESE OBJECTS CAN BE MADE UP WITH BASIC GEOMETRY, AND CAN BE DUPLICATED TO HELP CLUTTER UP THE SPACE.
T

I UNDERSTAND THAT WE ALREADY HAVE A LOT OF THESE OBJECTS. SUCH AS THE DRESSER. (PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HAVE TO INCLUDE ALL OF THESE OBJECTS. THESE ARE JUST IDEAS OF HOW THE SPACE MIGHT LOOK)

]CURRENTLY, I AM PLACING BASIC POLYGONAL OBJECTS IN A MAYA .MA FILE (TO SCALE WITH THE NEW ELEVEN) THAT WILL REPRESENT THIS SPACE I HAVE LAYED OUT. IF YOU GUYS HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS, I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR THEM.
LETS MAKE THIS PROJECT THE BEST IT CAN BE.

Three toys - a chessboard, dollhouse, and rubics cube. The dollhouse didn't come with a shader.

Ruben, tree, Shrub, bushes 4/10

Jeanette- Toys

I just tried uploading this and it didn't work so I am trying again. Here are some toys i've collected so far, a rubic cube, a model plane, an elephant, and a horse. I was thinking we could line up a few horses all in a row, cause little girls do that sometimes.
